Microsoft 365
Email Migration

We migrate your email system to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online with no mailflow interruption and no data loss, at a fixed price.

Why now

Why migration can no longer wait

Your current email system may look stable. It rarely is. On-premises Exchange servers fall off vendor support, cPanel and Zimbra mailboxes accumulate technical debt, and Google Workspace stops making sense the moment the rest of your business already lives in Word, Excel and Teams. In each scenario, email becomes operational risk: unpatched security vulnerabilities, no enforced multi-factor authentication, mis-sized licensing costs, and dependency on a single technician who knows the current setup.

Migration to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online closes all of these in one move, provided it is executed by a team that has already done it hundreds of times.

Pricing

Fixed price, no surprises

How it works

A base amount up to 25 mailboxes, plus a fixed amount per additional mailbox, agreed before work begins. The exact figure is provided in a proposal.

More than 100 mailboxes, multiple domains, hybrid configurations or regulated environments? The scope is more complex, and so is the price. We ask for a 30-minute call to size it properly.

Methodology

How we run the migration

01 / 05

Assessment

The same five-phase methodology applied to 24/7 operations, multi-domain group entities, and staged coexistence migrations.

  1. Assessment

Full analysis of the current environment, including integrations and critical processes.

  2. Preparation

Microsoft 365 configuration and pre-cutover testing in an isolated environment.

  3. Migration

Data transfer with continuous monitoring, in windows agreed with the customer.

  4. Activation

DNS cutover and new-system activation, with no user-visible interruption.

  5. Delivery

Documentation, handover, and start of the included Support Hours package.

Each phase has defined deliverables. Your team always knows where the project stands.

TAAG

National airline of Angola.

When the national carrier migrated its email system to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, it did so with Menshen. Over a thousand mailboxes, 24/7 operations, a fleet serving destinations across four continents, and an operational chain (crew rosters, catering confirmations at scale, instructions to ground handling, dispatch, communication with control towers and with the Operations Directorate) that runs entirely through email. The migration was delivered with no data loss and no mailflow interruption. The flights kept taking off.

More than eight years later, TAAG still runs on the same platform. The same methodology, and the same team, today migrate a 25-user business, to the same standard of rigour.

To get started

What we need from you

Four things. Typically gathered on the first call.

  1. 1 Administrative credentials for the current email system
  2. 2 DNS management access, or contact of the person responsible
  3. 3 User list with contact information for MFA setup
  4. 4 Preferred migration window

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • How long does the migration take?
Typically 4 to 6 weeks from kick-off to handover. For up to 25 mailboxes, in simple environments with no critical integrations, it can be completed in 2 to 3 weeks. Larger or hybrid environments require longer windows, planned with your team.
  • Will there be email service interruption?
Our methodology is designed to avoid mailflow interruption. Users continue to send and receive email throughout the migration window. DNS cutover is executed outside business hours, with coexistence during the transition.
  • What happens to old emails? Are they kept?
Yes. The migration transfers the full history of inboxes, folders, contacts and calendars to Microsoft 365. Content is replicated, not deleted.
  • Do I need to purchase Microsoft 365 licences before the migration?
Yes, but Menshen sizes them for you. During the Assessment phase we determine the licence mix that covers your needs without unnecessary cost. How the licences are framed is detailed in the proposal.
  • Who changes the DNS?
Menshen executes the DNS changes, in coordination with your team or the provider that manages the domain. In environments where the customer prefers to keep direct DNS control, we provide the exact instructions and validate every step.
  • What if we have more than 100 mailboxes, multiple domains, hybrid Exchange, or complex integrations?
The scope then exceeds this package. The same team, the same methodology and the same principles apply (a fixed price, agreed up front), but the price is calculated from a detailed assessment. We have delivered migrations of this kind across banking, public sector and 24/7 operations.
